Perry Wellness Center and the Americus Civitan Club recently celebrated the fifth year of a special holiday tradition at the center. Members of the local civic organization threw a Christmas party for the peers who attend the program.

Perry Wellness Center founder and CEO Stuart Perry, a member of the local Civitan group, welcomed the visiting members and offered the assembled a review of the club’s generous contributions to the community and the center.

“I welcome these generous men and women to Perry Wellness Center,” Stuart said. “They visit to help begin our Christmas celebrations, and we appreciate their time and efforts for the center and Rudy’s Happy Patch Market. I may miss some good deeds they have done, but let’s thank them with applause.”

Americus Civitans brought cash gifts and plates of holiday treats for the occasion. Peers and staff alike were invited to pose for a commemorative picture with Santa Claus, who also dropped by for the event.
