Minich and ThomasThe spring market is always busy at Perry Wellness Center, but Mother’s Day weekend is a particularly bustling time. Customers arrive to check out the latest blooming plants and hanging baskets and linger to catch up with friends.

This year was no exception. We caught up with one visitor to Rudy’s Happy Patch Market, when local PWC supporter Andrea Thomas stopped by in search of red geraniums. Market staff member Jamie Minich assisted her, happy to see her back at the market again.

“I met Mrs. Thomas last year, and it was fun,” Jamie recalled. “To see her come back means I must have been nice to her! I was fun to wait on her and help her select big bloom geraniums.”

Stuart Perry weighed in on the successful market weekend: “The Saturday before Mother’s Day was exceptional and made us realize that we had many new customers as well as returning ones. It was good to see the activity on our campus.”
