After another record weekend of customer activity at Rudy’s Happy Patch Market, the bustling market continued early Monday morning. While market peer leaders checked and discarded any produce past its prime, customers came out to enjoy the morning weather and the large variety of fruits and vegetables from local farmers.

“I learned to love commerce from my mom and late dad,” Perry Wellness Center founder and CEO Stuart Perry reminisced. “Mother grew ferns and other plants behind our house in Buena Vista and then transferred them to our corner service station in downtown Buena Vista I remember that she gloriesdat any empty spot in the display greenhouse.” With a smile, he concluded, “I guess I got that marketing gene from them.”
