On a recent Thursday morning, several local family members got an early start on their market shopping, before the heat of the day.

Grandmother Peggy Israel ventured forth to Rudy’s Happy Patch Market with daughter Beverly and grandson Vander. They shopped for squash, tomatoes, and fresh okra.

“This is a fun place to shop,” Beverly noted. “We enjoy coming here as a family. Vander learns the identification of fruits as we shop.”
