Rudy’s Happy Patch Market has some long-awaited news to report: the gates are about to open!
A “learning run” for the market will be held this coming Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, May 7 – 9. Perry Wellness Center founder and CEO Stuart Perry feels that the timing ir right, noting the many vehicles that slow down as they pass the campus gates and the fact that the market is a favorite place to shop for Mother’s Day (don’t forget – it’s this weekend!).
Stuart explains, “So many former and regular customers have called or contacted me about reopening of the market, and we need to put safe practices together for the safety or our staff and customers. It is Mother’s Day weekend, and we need to open and let our customers see our new inventory of flowers and trees, as well as our precautions.”
Stuart also notes that the Mobile Market will make its next stop in Buena Vista on Friday, May 8. Staff member Mulkey McMichael, a Marion County resident, will be there to greet customers.
“Mulkey has told me that spring is exciting to Mobile Market customers, and he will try to have the plants they have requested,” Stuart adds.
Here’s to a smooth and safe re-opening for the market and our loyal customers!
