Recently, Perry Wellness Center continued a tradition with nearby South Georgia Technical College, when it loaned greenery from Rudy’s Happy Patch Market to the educational institution for its December 2020 graduation ceremonies.

This year’s technical college graduation made changes to its format, due to the pandemic, as it would be a drive-by ceremony. However, SGTC staff and faculty wanted the ceremony to be a fitting recognition for graduating seniors and their families.

SGTC representatives Lillie Ann Winn and Lisa Jordan selected approximately one dozen mature ferns from the Happy Patch greenhouses to use in the two ceremonies that would take place on December 10. While visiting the market, they also observed the construction of fresh Christmas wreaths.
