As we reported last week, the south parking lot at Perry Wellness Center has largely been cleared to prepare for fall inventory, but small displays are still apparent to close observers. Along the walking paths around Rudy’s Happy Patch Market, we spotted a group of Agave Americana plants, more commonly known as century plants. They remain available in varying pot sizes and prices.
A display of remaining pots of Southern black-eyed susans remains in its yellow splendor. Two-gallon pots are only $12 each, and customers are encouraged to ask about late season discounts.
As we ready for fall, we hope that these attractive and discounted displays will help customers continue to leave with a smile. For quirky hardiness, our vote goes to the century plant. For customers who really want a pop of late summer color, black-eyed susans always win!
