Just because it’s Labor Day, it doesn’t mean a person can’t work hard at a favorite task. At Perry Wellness Center this week, that means lots of outdoor activities, ranging from corn hole to the all-favorite volleyball. “Game Day-Labor Day” was declared after lots of planning by Kelly Jansen and Charlene Hayes in particular. Both peers and staff want to get back to as normal a routine as possible.

The first volleyball serve of the day was at 10 a.m., and the fun continued from there. Stuart Perry coached the games and cheered individuals on. “We wanted this day to be a game day of fun on our campus,” he explains.

That goal was certainly achieved! In the photo above, Paul Dickson serves the ball, and Kaylon Holt, far left, and Tyshaun Thomas team up with him for a friendly game of volleyball.
