This past Monday, peers received welcome news during the morning group discussion. Staff member Kelly Jansen related plans to have a group attend the Perry Fair on October 13 – today!

“This has always been a fun time, and we look forward to a repeat trip to Perry,” Kelly enthused. “I hope we can have more peers and staff to enjoy the fun.” 

Vans were scheduled to leave the Perry Wellness Center campus at 9:00 a.m. and travel directly to Perry, Georgia for the day. As it is arm band day, visitors to the fair can ride until they can no longer ride again! Peers who do not plan to ride until the point of exhaustion can purchase tickets for individual rides. The weather forecast is promising, so the group should have several hours of fun. Vans will load for return to Americus at 3:00 p.m.

"This will be a fun trip and will allow all of us to enjoy each other's company in a different and fun environment,” Kelly added.
