Chicken tendersThroughout the year, peers enrolled at Perry Wellness Center praise their meals. During cooler weather, hot meals are more appreciated than ever.


Monday’s meals menu was typical. Breakfast included a selection of eggs, bacon, grits, rolls, and fresh apple juice. At lunch, peers had a treat: hot chicken tenders, potato logs with dipping sauces, juice, and water.


“We try and feed our peers and staff well,” PWC founder and CEO Stuart Perry says. “With the cooler temperatures, it is important that we keep the trays hot. They are plastic-wrapped in Styrofoam trays to be sure." 


In the photo above, Kendarius Durham open his lunch tray to his chicken tenders meal. When questioned, Kendarius offered, “I like Perry Wellness Center – and the meals are great!”
