On Monday morning, our intrepid photographer ran into staff member Jamie Minich enjoying two of her favorite pastimes: caring for plants and drinking coffee. Jamie serves as the plant identification specialist at the market, among her other tasks, which included watering the greenhouse hanging baskets on Monday.

“The morning is special for me,” Jamie said. “I wake up and enjoy what I do at Happy Patch Market. I have two hands. I water with one and carry a cup of coffee with the other to brighten my day.”

Jamie is adept at multi-tasking, but is unconcerned about any mishaps: “If I do spill my coffee, I can just rinse it off. It may even help our plants!”
