Mulkey McMichael is accustomed to his camera attracting attention when he aims his lens at a subject. But recently the photographer and public relations staffer at Perry Wellness Center was quizzed by one peer member about using him as a frequent photographic subject.

Mulkey had a ready answer for Tyshaun Thomas. “You are involved each day in improving the appearance of Perry Wellness Center and providing a welcome to customers,” Mulkey explained. “Your actions please Stuart Perry (who serves as director of the recovery center). He likes to share the good stories of people at work. And you never stop working at Perry Wellness Center!”

Although Tyshaun had been very aware of Mulkey’s frequent presence with his camera, he was so eager to complete his current task – tidying a flower bed, that he ignored the looming photographer and camera at his side.
