Warmer weather and recent overnight rains have been beneficial for area produce, and Rudy’s Happy Patch Market is filling up with a variety of colorful vegetables.

Market staff manager Caitlan Duren says, “I know that customers enjoy the variety that we have at Happy Patch. I like to show the variety in colors and shapes that we have to offer. It is always different!


"Look what I found in our squash inventory.” Caitlan continues, holding up two vegetables to illustrate. “I have never seen an eggplant that looks like this. It is fun to enjoy the goodness of our vegetable world. I guess the shape of some vegetables is different, but the taste remains the same.”
