Chrysanthemums – or mums, as they are more simply called—are the flowers most associated with fall. As the weather cools, the hardy blooming plants start to be spotted on porches throughout Southwest Georgia.

Perry Wellness Center founder and CEO Stuart Perry is a fan, and he makes sure they are in stock during the fall market. Right now, the center is carrying several color varieties at Rudy’s Happy Patch Market.

“I really do enjoy the fall season and the plant and color variety the season brings,” Stuart says. “We are enjoying an active market and are thankful for all our repeat and new customers.”

In the above photo, a variety of mums, priced from $12 to $18, brighten the market. Stuart reports that another truckload is on its way for delivery this week!
