On a recent walk through the aisles of Rudy's Happy Patch Market, we were struck by all the beautiful fall colors in the rows of mums and pumpkins. They stood out against a complementary backdrop of farm tomatoes. The display seemed symbolic of one constant in our inventory: whatever the change in plants and produce with the seasons, a backdrop of fresh tomatoes is always present. That’s because we adopted tomatoes as our year-round produce.
Plus, as Stuart Perry explains, “Whatever we display in the market, we must continue to provide tomatoes. They are popular and offer a great backdrop to any current product display.”
The above photo silently demonstrates this last point. Great job, market staff!
