When Stuart Perry makes a pledge, he keeps it. The founder and CEO of Perry Wellness Center and its Happy Patch Market adopted farm fresh tomatoes as its star produce, available year-round. He has worked tirelessly to honor this commitment, through covid, inflation, and inclement weather.
The market experienced the interrupted run of Buchanan Farms’ popular tomatoes, but another vendor was soon enrolled to provide this in-demand produce. For several months, Brown’s Farms has served as our primary provider, but they are now sold out. Happy Patch has contacted a long-time supplier and friend at Mark’s Melon Patch in Dawson, Georgia to continue the supply of farm-fresh tomatoes.
Happy Patch market clerk Steven Thompson, pictured above, echoed Stuart’s own assurances, saying, “I assure you that the quality and taste will equal the past two tomato providers. If the customer is not pleased, we will find another vendor.” In this season of holiday get-togethers around the table, customers can remain assured that fresh tomatoes can continue to be part of the menu.
