Readers know that Rudy’s Happy Patch Market, the community market operated by Perry Wellness Center promises that each customer will leave with a smile. PWC extends that goal campus-wide, as peers come together for support, training, and treatment of mental health and substance abuse problems.

Prescribing a smile, so to speak, must be an unwritten part of the recovery program’s regimen, which combines exercise, nutrition, behavioral modification, and life skills training to help peers achieve and maintain progress in their recovery.
