The 2003 spring and summer markets at Rudy’s Happy Patch Market have been experiencing a record year of selling locally grown vegetables and produce. To accommodate the growing number of customers, Stuart Perry has hired several new market employees.

The Perry Wellness Center founder and CEO explains, “I am expecting another great market. The weather is good, and the history of Happy Patch is spreading. I want to be sure that we can handle the business.”

Several young market “hosts” greet customers and provide a rotation of inventory for the best customer selection. Alyssa Whicher is one associate who just began her duties, and the photo above captures her first day at the market. She greets customers with a smile and information about the selected Vinca hanging basket.
