Watermelon graphicsFor years, new graphics and signs by artist Jeff Williams have been celebrated at Perry Wellness Center upon completion. Few artists can say that their works have been displayed at local farmers’ markets at the Louvre, but Jeff can make that claim.

One of his most popular works has been his depiction of ripe watermelons, a summer staple at Rudy’s Happy Patch Market. Displayed on the west side of the market building, the simple, oversized graphics are a reminder of the glory of freshly picked field fruits.

A variety of melons are available at Happy Patch during the summer season. PWC founder and CEO Stuart Perry notes, “We like to open some melons and provide customers and peers with a taste of the variety during our July 4thcelebrations. There may also be more melons available later in the summer.”

We appreciate how Jeff Williams has contributed to the color and beauty of our campus. Kudos also to all those who grow, deliver, and display the delicious melons we offer!
