Beaded Jewelry Offered by Creative Peers
At Perry Wellness Center, our arts and crafts classes are sparking new ideas among members and creating entre-preneurial opportunities. After the completion of a recent unit on potholder construction, peer leader Michelle Maness decided to purchase an assortment or beads and threading yarn to create jewelry for sale.
“I figured this would be a fun thing for us to do,” Michelle explained. “All of us like necklaces and bracelets, and we will have fun making the assorted orders. If everything goes well, we will offer custom orders in the Happy Patch Market this spring.”
The creations will soon appear in the market. Prices are as follows:
1 solid color -- $1.00
2 solid colors -- $2.00
1 solid color with name (up to 8 letters) -- $3.00
2 solid colors with name -- $4.00
Mix & match colors with name -- $5.00
Same price as bracelets plus additional $2.00 for thread
Color selection is available, currently at our Educational Building. Feel free to contact us for more information.
