Stripling FarmsIn its commitment to farm-fresh items at Rudy’s Happy Patch Market is continually searching for area farmers and other vendors who can provide high-quality, locally grown or prepared produce and other food items.

Most recently, the market has begun selling meat and other farm products from the Stripling Farm in Moultrie, Georgia. The Stripling Farm brand joins other exemplary brands, such as Chase Farms in our more “prestige” offerings to local customers.

The well-known Stripling Farm brand offers over 40 jams, jellies, vegetables mixers, salsas, country cured ham, smoke bacon, barbequed pork, link and pan sausages, and its popular beef jerky. The line is always expanding, so customers can look forward to more delicious items. In order to be ready for the holiday season, additional shelving is being constructed.

We checked the Stripling Farms website for a bit of history and found the following information on its most popular items:

“After 30 years and much success with our sausage recipe, we decided to develop a new product. In 1995, we sold our first batch of Stripling’s Beef Jerky. This jerky certainly set us apart from our competitors. It took us many sample batches, but we think we found a good thing. For over 10 years now, we have been serving this jerky, and it is becoming just as popular as Stripling’s Sausage.”

In addition to its Moultrie location, Stripling Farms now operates a store near Lake Blackshear on GA Hwy. 280 W., as well as a store in Moultrie. The family also operates a thriving mail order business. Three generations of Striplings have now worked for the family business, and they all demonstrate the same commitment to quality.

Customers are invited to visit Rudy’s Happy Patch Market to check out our growing inventory of Stripling foods. We’ll borrow the Stripling Farm slogan and tell you, “You Never Sausage a Place.”
