When we think of longtime peer Willie Pryor, the following words come to mind: dedicated, efficient, hard-working. With a championship work ethic, “Mr. Willie,” as he is known” fills much of his time at Perry Wellness Center with productive work.
Not much of a conversationalist, Mr. Willie enjoys staying active, usually with a broom or garden hose in hand. Stuart Perry notes, “I have never seen Mr. Willie when he is not busy. During our busiest market days, he is sweeping and cleaning the market floor and all areas of the market. Before the rush of customers, he is doing his part to be sure that all of our plants are watered.”
Even at a recovery center, customer service is an important part of positive interaction with the public. Such service includes a clean environment and service with a smile, both of which Mr. Willie provides daily.
“We are growing on this corner, and I do what I can to keep the market and grounds in top shape for our customers,” Willie Pryor explains. “As our motto says, we want all customers to leave with a smile.”
