The variable weather of spring has still worked its magic on the flowers and plants at Perry Wellness Center. Sub-freezing temperatures and storms have wreaked some havoc, but damaged plants have been cut back and bright, warm days have more than compensated for periodic bad weather.
Our greenhouses are bursting with color, and Rudy’s Happy Patch Market is awash with blooms. Stuart Perry recently checked on the growing plants progress in one of the greenhouses, along with plant manager Connie Rutherford, pictured above.
“I am happy with our early offering of plants at Happy Patch Market,” Stuart noted. “The recent cold weather may have caused a delay for some of our faithful customers, but I remind them that we are ready with new varieties and colors.”
“You all come and see these colors,” added Connie Rutherford.
