At Rudy’s Happy Patch Market, there’s fresh summer produce galore. Customers are enjoying Georgia peaches, Chase Farms corn, and Buchanan Farms tomatoes.
Market associate and Perry Wellness Center culinary director Kelly Jansen is eager to provide local farm-to-table produce for customers. He says, “It is very important that we be early in providing produce to our customer base. We have provided early Chase Farms corn and now have local squash and both cherry and slicing tomatoes available for our supportive public.” Kelly promises that the inventory will continue to increase.
The market is particularly pleased to support local family farms, such as those operated by the Chase and Buchanan families, among others.
