This summer, Perry Wellness Center has enjoyed seeing so many beloved locals at the market. Recently, Ray Baldwin, a lifelong Sumter County resident, paid an early morning visit to Rudy’s Happy Patch Market.

“I have always been a supporter of the mission of Stuart and Pam Perry, here at Perry Wellness Center,” he said. “They are now my neighbors, and I will increase my support as I shop at Happy Patch!”

Ray Baldwin has been involved in the promotion of Americus and Sumter County for many years. He has now cut back his office duties at the Baldwin Insurance Agency. But his schedule remains active.

“I try and visit the office some four days a week,” he explains. “I like to take Friday off and do other chores.” He added with a smile,” I will leave here and go mow grass.”

While on his latest market visit, Mr. Baldwin was assisted by Rhonda Hubbard in the selection of choice tomatoes from Buchanan Farms, a favorite market supplier. Rhonda, who serves as tour guide extraordinaire at Perry Wellness Center, was happy to help, saying, “I know Mr. Baldwin, and I want to assist him – and other customers who visit.”
