As the campus of Perry Wellness Center awaits warmer weather and a busy spring market, one peer is doing her part to keep the winter grounds attractive.
Vicki Lamica has a deft touch in the gardens, but this week finds her amid weeds and winter growth. After removing her coat, she pulls up weeds and straggling growth around the covered pavilion and Rudy’s Happy Patch Market.
“I like to make Perry Wellness Center look good,” Vicki explains. “I have shown many customers about nipping the spent blooms from our roses. When we do this removal, new and bright blooms soon appear.” Indeed, she has provided leadership lessons on the removal of spent blossoms on Knock Out and other varieties of roses.
Thanks, Vicki, for helping even our winter campus look good!
