Fresh Paint and Spring Plants Brighten Campus
Nationally acclaimed artist, longtime behavioral health advocate, and Perry Wellness Center employee Jeff Williams designed the original layout, water features, signage and color palette for the center and adjoining Rudy’s Happy Patch Market. Now, after approximately seven years of wear and tear due to increasing traffic, Jeff is reclaiming the public areas with a fresh coat of paint.
“With the increasing customer and peer traffic, it is time to renew the colors and celebrate the history of this place,” Jeff explains. “I am happy to be a part – I welcome change. I rarely paint the same colors, because they get stale. People like to see change in their environments. I want to continue this visual appeal.” He concludes, “Bright colors cause smiles,” offering one of his own.
PWC founder and CEO Stuart Perry understands the appeal of this bright corner, especially during the spring and summer market season. He asserts, “We are on the path for another record year at the market. It seems that more customers are ordering a larger number of plants. We are trying to offer discounts for multiple plants.” He promises, “They will leave with a smile.”
Sounds like that there will be smiles all around, between the freshly painted spaces and the colorful plants on display at the market and around the campus. Readers are encouraged to browse the website and the Perry Wellness Center Facebook page for additional information, along with photos of our plant inventory.
