Holiday HealthWe may be enjoying the Christmas season at Perry Wellness Center, but we haven’t removed our focus on total wellness. Holidays are a time when good health practices often give way to over-eating, over-drinking, and not getting enough sleep.

PWC founder and CEO Stuart Perry notes, “We are on a nutrition correction course at Perry Wellness Center We are changing diet and serving size at the center. Our staff is researching all factors that could be detrimental to good health.

“We have a theme of health improvement,” Stuart continues. “As for any bad health practice, we need to CATCH it, CHECK it, and CHANGE it. It is important for all of us to learn and take care of ourselves.”

Recently, Stuart and staff member Scott Giles provided an important health information session to peers. Future discussions were promised on topics such as the effect of stress on good health.

“After all, we are Perry WELLNESS Center,” Stuart concludes. “I am becoming more aware of things that we might be doing that are unhealthy. We will work to change these things in the new year.”
