As August arrives in Southwest Georgia, Perry Wellness Center staff are noting a rare sight on the grounds of Rudy’s Happy Patch Market: empty spaces.
“It has been a great market year for us,” explains PWC founder and CEO Stuart Perry. We are now discounting our most popular plants and shrubs and getting ready for moving our inventory into our five greenhouses.”
One reason for the move is to provide additional protection for plants from the hot August sun. In the upper parking lot, adjacent to the market, remaining trees and plants are available at discount prices. Market workers continue to care for and water these remaining plants.
“I invite shoppers to visit our market and enjoy late season prices,” Stuart says.
