Every year, the great debate is held in millions of homes: when it the right time to put up Christmas decorations? At Perry Wellness Center, we put them up as soon as possible. As much as we love Thanksgiving, we have many of our Christmas decorations up. Peers and staff all look forward to seeing the campus decorated in bright Christmas colors, and customers at Rudy’s Happy Patch Market are hopefully inspired to start their own holiday decorating, cooking, and gift giving.
“We are happy to welcome customers to Happy Patch Market,” PWC founder and CEO Stuart Perry says. “We still have much of our produce, including Georgia grown tomatoes, to offer shoppers. All of our fall plants are on tables inside the market, and we can offer a discount to our late buyers.”
Within the next week, live Christmas trees will be arriving, so customers can get their fragrant trees up in plenty of time for the holidays. In the meantime, market customers are greeted with a brightly decorated Christmas tree at the south entrance. A few steps from the tree hangs a wreath constructed by our own Phyllis Smith. The sparkling mesh strikes a holiday note, while below it, Georgia tomatoes remind visitors that they are a year-round offering, whatever the season.
