For residents of Southwest Georgia, winter temperatures can come as a shock to the system, even when the temperature remains above freezing levels. Perry Wellness Center designer Jeff Williams captured this feeling in a recent sign he designed, constructed, and posted at the south entrance to Rudy’s Happy Patch Market. The cheery sign captures the spirit of the season (as well as the colder weather) and reminds visitors that Christmas is on its way.
“North Pole,” the sign declares, with a smaller attached sign indicating whether “Santa” is in or out. Translation: Santa Claus is coming to town and arriving on the PWC campus later this month. Soon, the market and grounds will be hosting its annual “Share the Season” a/k/a “Cheer Up the Blues” open house, and Santa will be a special guest. As always, food and hot drinks will be served to visitors, along with gift bags from Santa. In the meantime, the holiday market beckons customers fo browse seasonal food and décor.
Stay tuned for more information on our upcoming open house – you’re all invited!
