We told our readers earlier this week about some blooming plants that the Southwest Georgia cold snap got the best of. But numerous other hanging baskets and potted plants were moved into the warm greenhouses on the Perry Wellness Center campus. Workers placed plants carefully to prevent any damage.
After the weather warmed up, staff reviewed their efforts to save the plants and found that they had withstood the move well, with many offering hints of spring color and the promise of another banner year at Rudy’s Happy Patch Market.
In the photos, hanging baskets offer softly colored blossoms to welcome visitors to Greenhouse #3.
