Just like putting up the Christmas tree is more fun than taking it down, opening up Rudy’s Happy Patch Market in spring, summer, and fall is more fun than closing it up after the winter holidays. The latter is technically challenging at times, with the removal of plant watering tubes and other support lines.
“We hustle this time of year, before we receive and display our inventory for spring,” Perry Wellness Center founder and CEO Stuart Perry explains. When spring hanging baskets arrive, the water drip hoses created by Jeff Williams will resume their work.
But for now, as these photos show, the market grounds are just a little less cheery than in recent days, and the stored hoses and other support lines looks like props in a sci-fi movie.
While we rest from our holiday labors, we can’t wait to restart the market for the best spring ever!
