Whenever peers, staff, or visitors arrive at Perry Wellness Center, peer Sonya Mullins makes sure that the pathways and entrances to the main buildings are cleaned and swept. She has her patented routine for getting the task done.
Sonya explains, “With the increase in weekend winds, I must first sweep any litter and debris that drops outside the entryways. Later in the morning and during the day, I can move to cleaning the glass windows of our main entries. It is amazing how streaked and dirty they get after the first entry into our buildings.”
Perry Wellness Center founder and CEO Stuart Perry notes, “I hope that Sonya’s efforts will encourage our peer population to be careful as they enter these buildings. Sonya does a great job.”
The spring/summer season opens at Rudy’s Happy Patch Market this week, so we’re making sure that everything is even more fresh and clean than usual.
