Recently, local resident Debra Bowden braved the morning heat to visit Rudy’s Happy Patch Market in search of garden-fresh tomatoes. As she browsed, she discovered a perfectly ripened tomato on a display table.

She explained, “I was called to visit the tomato table, where I discovered a special tomato. I guess we will use it for sandwiches.”

Bowen continued, “I enjoy coming down to Happy Patch. The fresh vegetables are so tasty, and it is good to support local farmers and the great mission to help the mentally ill.”
