Art Project PWCAt Perry Wellness Center, a premium continues to be placed upon creative expression. It is considered an important component of a wellness and recovery program, as it benefits everything from eye/hand coordination to expression of feelings.

Phyllis Smith, long-time member of the PWC staff and certified peer specialist, currently serves as the art instructor for the program. As you can see from the latest peer display in the art room, Miss Phyllis does a great job of encouraging individuals in their self-expression, as well as in honoring their contributions with prominent displays of their work. Many peers participate in the annual fundraising art shows on campus.

The display pictured here is from a recent project by a group of peer artists.
