When it comes to fresh summer corn, greater efficiency in preparation can be a big plus for customers. For those who don’t enjoy hand-shucking fresh ears of corn, purchasing corn shucked and re-bagged is a popular choice.
“We shucked corn last year, and it became more popular with our customers,” says Stuart Perry, Perry Wellness Center founder and CEO. “We want to be sure that we offer corn both ways. If the corn is shucked and silked, it is easier to boil or cut off the cob for cream corn. All of it is good.”
Summer corn this year once again features Chase Farm Corn from Montezuma, as well as other local varieties.
