After a recent visit to the Atlanta Farmer’s Market, staff have begun the task of preparing fall displays at the market.
Market manager Kelly Jansen started with the hundreds of large and small pumpkins that were brought back from the recent trip. He ensured that each pumpkin was cleaned, then inspected for overall appearance. Those to be used in market displays were then protected with a safe gloss spray.
Next, creative director Jeff Williams and other staff members have begun to create exciting market displays using hay, pumpkins, mums, gourds, and other fall décor. The displays are designed to inspire market visitors who want to have a touch of seasonal décor on their porches or tables this fall.
“It is good that we have ready-made displays in our market,” Kelly says. “We have had two customers buy the complete set-up. This is great, and we are now locating additional products.”
The colors of autumn are now spotted in many area yards. Seeing market decorations on display pleases Kelly and his staff.
“We want to usher in the fall season with color and excitement,” Kelly concludes.
