We hope all our Perry Wellness Center friends and families had a wonderful Thanksgiving. At the center, we brought in Thanksgiving in style.
After an early morning serving of cereal and milk, peers began an abbreviated day on Wednesday. Before they departed, peers and staff were served a pre-Thanksgiving brunch of eggs, grits, bacon, sausage, biscuits, and orange juice. Holiday music played in the background as people dined and chatted, increasing the festive spirit of the day.
Peers then departed early in order to spend more time with family and friends. The center was closed for Thanksgiving, but we’re back today and beginning our Christmas celebration schedule. What a wonderful time of the year!
