Many peers at Perry Wellness Center are getting into the Christmas spirit through a creative task-- creating evergreen wreaths from the branches of Frazier firs. One group makes cuttings of the appropriate lengths, and another groups constructs the large round door wreaths. New wreaths are cut and constructed each day, and fresh wreaths are for sale at Rudy’s Happy Patch Market.
Peer Sonya Mullins, pictured above, has attended Perry Wellness Center for approximately nine years. During that time, she has been involved in almost all of the creative projects at the center. Recently, the camera caught Sonya admiring her latest handiwork.
“This was a large wreath,” Sonya noted. “I am proud of this finished piece, and I hope it will soon sell and adorn a customer’s house.”
We have no doubt, Sonya!
