Foster surgeryHaving dealt with some disability issues affecting his movement since his birth over 53 years ago, Perry Wellness Center peer James Darrell Foster has learned to navigate the world successfully. With a stabilizing walker, he has little fear of losing his balance, and he easily navigates inclines and uneven territory.

“I do have to be careful,” James acknowledges,  “But this walker helps stabilize me as I travel.”

Of late, he has had a painful “lap” toe condition corrected by local orthopedic surgeon Dr. John Fennessy and hopes to be out of his surgical boot in a few weeks.

“I hope to get back to my routine soon,” James says with confidence. We have no doubt he will!
