When the Mobile Market began as an outgrowth of Rudy’s Happy Patch Market, it was an experiment in community outreach. Three years later, it has been a great success. Perry Wellness Center founder and CEO Stuart Perry is a strong believer in the power of community outreach and is grateful for the reception his market model has received.
“We began the Mobile Market to take information about Perry Wellness Center to other sites in Southwest Georgia,” Stuart recalls. “I thought it might be fun to try and sell our plant and tree inventory as we traveled to other towns. People are now calling about our next visit. The project has been successful, and we are telling many of these mobile customers about our increased plant variety in Americus. Happy Patch has seen an increase in activity and support as well.”
Stuart estimates that 5,000 – 6,000 potted plants have been purchased and added to the inventory of the market, as the enterprises moves toward a new record in sales.
