Families work together in all kinds of ways to help each other out and make the family stronger. In the case of Perry Wellness Center founder and CEO Stuart Perry, his extended family has been successful in business and in community stewardship, and they have now found another way to lend mutual support.
Stuart explained, “With permission, our Mobile Market is now locating adjacent to the Perry Gas N Go stations located throughout Southwest Georgia. (These convenience stores and gas stations are owned by the Perry Brothers.) The commerce at these location is unreal. The Friday of the July 4th celebration was a hit for all who passed our spot by the Richland Gas N Go. Many travelers stopped for a break, as the center is adjacent to the interstate. I tried to lure them to our Mobile Market with greetings and good prices. It seemed to work!”
The brightly colored, billboard-sized box truck and travel wagon drew attention, and many travelers took time from their travels to select fresh plants and summer produce.
“It seems that more people stopped to select fresh watermelons, tomatoes, and corn to enjoy on July 4th,” Stuart enthused. “This was a very successful market!”
