At Rudy’s Happy Patch Market, the latest creative imagining of resident artist Jeff Williams has taken a place of honor in the market’s reception area. A framed, rustic graphic, it takes viewers back to childhood farm memories. Perry Wellness Center founder and director Stuart Perry is pleased with the new addition.
“Jeff found this image of a farm boy and included the look on a new Happy Patch Market poster,” Stuart explains. “He plans to do another and use the face of my granddaughter, Rylee Kate Campbell.” The proud grandfather adds, “She will show the best face we can on Happy Patch!”
Stuart sees the art work as a representation of his own welcome to customers: “I will not be painted and hang in the market. But I can welcome customers with the poster and good service and good prices. I want to promote our work any way I can.”
With Stuart’s vision, Jeff’s artistic talent, and a group of welcoming market staff, it’s no wonder that things are really hopping there this summer.
