Such was the recent declaration of local resident Joe Hooks as he arrived on the Perry Wellness Center campus to make a purchase of farm-fresh tomatoes from Rudy’s Happy Patch Market. There is no disputing that fact – the blazing temperatures are a big clue, but PWC founder and CEO Stuart Perry celebrates the season.

“We have been very pleased with our activity at Happy Patch in the past weeks,” he explained. “Our travel to other towns in Southwest Georgia with the Mobile Market gets better and better. People like the freshness of our produce each season. We have been blessed.”

Stuart’s one regret of the day was when he learned he had missed Joe Hooks’ visit: “I hate that I missed Mr. Hooks. He has been a supportive and good customer.”
