As spring moves into high gear on the campus of Perry Wellness Center, nothing is more bright and festive than hummingbird plants that are on display. The saturated colors of these plants draw appreciative comments from visitors to Rudy’s Happy Patch Market.

“I saw this plant when it was delivered and loved the color and appeal,” says PWC founder and director Stuart Perry. “When I learned it was called a hummingbird plant, I knew we had to have it for our inventory. The color and the open appeal of the branching have made this plant very popular on our campus and in our market.”

Stuart notes the plants are currently available in a two-gallon size for $18. They are on display on the north campus, but can be moved for any customer’s purchase.
