Hanging baskets are on full display this summer at Rudy’s Happy Patch Market. In past seasons, customers viewed available plants at different locations throughout the market and garden area, but displays are different this season. Perry Wellness Center founder and CEO Stuart Perry listened to customer requests and made some changes.
He explains, “More and more supportive customers have asked me to place like brands of hanging baskets together for their selection. We once spread our baskets out to create maximum exposure in creative settings. Now the baskets are together.”
Stuart notes that keeping like plants together better allows for the same watering and fertilizer application. Market staff will monitor sales and try to strike the right balance of attractive displays, efficient plant maintenance, and most of all, customer preferences.
Stuart concludes, “The popular geranium ivy baskets (pictured below) are together at one site. I am not sure yet whether the move has been beneficial or not, but they sell well, wherever we display them!”
