At Rudy’s Happy Patch Market, on the campus of Perry Wellness Center, our recently built chilled display area has been a hit with customers. Designed to keep fresh fruits and vegetables cool, it has added benefits. Many customers find this spot to be the perfect place to “take a breath” on a hot and humid summer day.

Just ask regular customer Daryl Wishum. Like many customers, he appreciates the inviting temperatures in this display area, but he also likes the sense of discovery.

“I like this space on hot days,” he says. “But I can visit the room on any day I visit the market, to see any new canned or fresh products in the space. It’s fun to visit and see new inventory.”

On his most recent visit, Daryl Wishum, pictured above, visits the chill room to check out cold peaches and other fresh vegetables.
