Perry Wellness Center is happy to announce its 2nd annual Art Show and Fundraiser. Please come join us this Saturday, April 5, between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. on the grounds of PWC and Rudy’s Happy Patch Market.
Visitors will have the opportunity to greet our talented peers and view or purchase their handmade artwork. Spring plants are also available for purchase. Take a walk through our beautiful spring gardens and grab hotdogs for lunch, as well as lemonade and snack foods.
The show is an opportunity to show your support for the work of Perry Wellness Center in local communities and have a few hours of springtime leisure in the process.
Participating peers have been hard at work on new creations for display and sale. Staff member Phyllis Smith continues to lead art classes, and they have set aside times to work on art for the upcoming show.
Mrs. Phyllis, pictured here with peers in class, reports that several individuals have been working on creating three-dimensional crosses for Easter, using clay and paint. Not only do peers let their natural talent shine through – they also learn and practice the handling of clay, coloration, drying times, and other technical points.
