Creativity continues to bloom along with the summer flowers at Perry Wellness Center. In addition to attending arts and crafts classes, many peers enjoy working on their own projects between classes and groups at the center.
Yarn work seems to quicken the creativity process for one group of peers. In the above photo, from left, Daisy Bell, Robert Bell, Laurie Hildreth, and Nakia Rhone work on a loom weaving project at a corner table.
Other peers express themselves in the garden, with colored pens, on needlework projects, or other means. We remind ourselves that recovery and wellness rely upon creative expression and quiet moments of fellowship.
